The Price of Cleaning Services Near Me in Monroe, NY
According to thumbtack.com, the average house cleaning service costs about $25 to $50 an hour, depending on a number of different factors. These factors include things such as where you live, the size of the place you want cleaned, and how pricing is determined by the company that you hire. Here are some of the things that can impact how much you will be paying for cleaning services near me in Monroe, NY:
- Where You Live in New York
Depending on where you live in New York, this is the number one factor that will determine how much you will pay for cleaning services near me. If you live in a more condensed, urban home, then the cost might be a lot cheaper. However, if you live in a large house in a more suburban area, then the cost of cleaning will be a lot more expensive. The major reason behind this is due to labor costs. The larger the place, the more time it will take to clean. The more time it will take to clean, the more labor costs will be.
- How Often Your Cleaning Service in Monroe, NY Visits
Another major factor that impacts the cost of your cleaning service in Monroe, NY is how often your cleaning service comes to your place. In many cases, you might be able to ask for a discount because you are a recurring customer. Cleaning services and maids like to have recurring and reliable customers, so they might love to give you discounts if you are one of those.
- How the Cleaning Service in Orange County Charges You
Not every cleaning service charges their customers the same way. Some cleaning services in Orange County charge customers based on the number of hours that they work, while others charge customers based on the size of the place that they clean. Check in with the cleaning service that you hire on how they charge so that you can be sure that you are not being ripped off.
How Much is Your Time Worth to You?
One of the largest reasons that people hire cleaning services near me is because they want to save time. In other words, they would rather spend that extra time cleaning and apply it to other things, such as spending time with their kids or significant other. While paying for a maid might seem like a hassle and a waste of money, it does have its benefits. You can spend that time you are using to clean and invest it into other, more important things in your life. People can always make more money, but people can never make more time. Time is the one commodity that we can not get back, ever, no matter how hard we try. Think about hiring a professional to do your cleaning. If you do, you will not have to worry about not having enough time to clean ever again.
How Do I Pick the Right Cleaning Service Company in Monroe, NY?
Choosing the right cleaning service company in Monroe, NY can be a difficult decision to make. There are a lot of different kinds of cleaning service companies in Orange County and it can be difficult to sort through all of them. However, there are some general things that you should look for and consider when picking a cleaning service in New York. These will help you ultimately decide which company you should hire and which company you should pass on. Here is a short list to help:
- Think about the depth of your cleaning needs
- Consider your budget and how much you are willing to spend
- Determine the size and condition of your home
- Reading reviews about the cleaning service you plan to hire
In particular, the last bullet point is one of the most important ones because reading reviews from other customers can tell you a lot about the company you plan to hire. In some cases, a single bad review can outweigh hundreds of positive reviews. Furthermore, many companies hire 3rd-party services to write positive reviews for them. As a result, many of the reviews might be fake or unprofessional. However, while this might be the case for other cleaning service companies, Great Clean Inc. has plenty of reliable, positive reviews from our customers over the years. If our clients are loving us, then you will surely love us too!

Some information about Monroe, NY
Monroe is a town in Orange County, New York, United States. The population was 39,912 at the 2010 census. The town is named after President James Monroe.
The first settlers to this land were American Indians from the Lenni-Lenape Indian nation. The Lenni-Lenape nation consisted of three tribes: the Unulactus, the turkeys; Minsis, the wolf tribe; and the Unamis, the turtle tribe. As white settlers started to move north, the Lenni-Lenape were forced to move west, out of New York and New Jersey into Pennsylvania and later into central North America, under the treaty of Easton, a colonial agreement signed in October, 1758. The British colonial government of the province of Pennsylvania and the Native American tribes in the Ohio country signed this document stating they would be allies in the French and Indian War.
In the early 1700s the lower Hudson Valley region was being mapped out to be divided up under the crown. On March 25, 1707, the ‘Chessecocks Patent was granted by Queen Anne’. The patent confirmed deeds that had been previously acquired by purchase directly from the Lenni-Lenape nation. The patent was given to seven people, six men and one woman. Cheesecocks as a precinct included all of present-day Monroe, Woodbury, Tuxedo, and Stony Point. Many of the patentees never saw the land they bought or were given. Many of the new settlers to come with the Cheesecocks patent were Dutch and English. Both groups of settlers came from Long Island for the rich natural resources.
The original name for the area on the Ramapo River, surveyed by General Washington’s geographer and surveyor Robert Erskine, was Smith’s Mill, described by Erskine as being ‘on a sudden bend of the Ramapo.’ This site still contains the ruins of the grist mill built in 1741 by David Smith, the first settler (Map of Orange and Rockland Counties Area laid down by R. Erskine 1778–1779). The Clove Road, which led from Haverstraw, home of Sir William Smith, up through Tuxedo and the rocky defile known by the Dutch word ‘kloof,’ for Clove, was vital to the American cause during the Revolutionary War. It was unknown to the British patrolling the Hudson and gave Washington his escape route from New York to his New Windsor headquarters. The area was called Southfields prior to April 6, 1808, when it took its present name of Monroe (Belcher, pp. 68–9).
